- Filed criminal cases: contact the County or District Clerk according to the court that heard the case
- Fine-only Justice Court matters: call the Mills County Justice of the Peace at 325-648-2278
- Statewide public conviction data: use the Texas DPS Crime Records Division and its official conviction search
- Police or incident reports: request the record from the agency that created it
- Expunction or nondisclosure filings: contact the clerk for the court with jurisdiction over the case
Mills County Sheriff Records Division: 2111 Priddy Road, Goldthwaite, TX 76844; 325-648-2245. Posted contact hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Incident and offense report requests must be delivered in person or mailed to Mills County Sheriff’s Office, Attn: Records Division, P.O. Box 1497, Goldthwaite, TX 76844. The sheriff does not accept those requests by phone or fax.
Mills County and District Clerk: Mills County Courthouse, 1011 4th Street, Goldthwaite, TX 76844; mailing address P.O. Box 646; 325-648-2711. Effective May 1, 2026, the counter is open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The recording counter closes at 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday. Ask whether the County Clerk or District Clerk holds the case before ordering.
